12ª EDIÇÃO DO FESTIVAL DE CAMINHADAS NO GERÊS

Walking is in Gerês, venture out: 22nd and 23rd March – Walking Festival:

Organised by the Gerês Viver Turismo association and with the support of Terras de Bouro Town Council, another edition of the Gerês Walking Festival will be held on 22 and 23 March. In partnership with six tourist entertainment companies that operate in the Gerês tourist destination and whose professionals are deeply knowledgeable about the territory. The event also has the support of Decathlon Braga and Água do Fastio.

This will be the 12th edition of the event and in 2025 participants will have the opportunity to walk along trails around the village of Santa Isabel do Monte, whose natural and scenic heritage is of undeniable value.
On each of the days there will be three guided walks, covering as many trails, all of them circular but with different lengths and degrees of difficulty, from short to long, making it possible for everyone to take part, regardless of their experience.
At the end of the walks, on both days, socialising will be promoted among all the participants with the offer of the typical Caldo no Pote and malga allusive to the event and bifana on bread.

Starting point: Next to the ‘Escola do Monte’ interpretive centre.

ENROLMENT AND CONDITIONS

You can register for a maximum of 2 trails, 1 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday.

• This event offers ‘special conditions and prices’ for our clients, and bookings must be made directly with our unit. To register, please send a registration request to the following e-mail address: hotel@sbento.pt, indicating the desired hike and your name, date of birth and municipality of residence.
• Registration is limited and may close at any time. Registration closes on 19 March or possibly earlier if the maximum number of registrations has been reached.
• Registration includes insurance and a guide.
• All entries include broth in a pot, bifana on bread and an allusive bowl.
• In the event of cancellation or no-show, the amount paid will not be refunded.
